I love my children more than anything, there is nothing I wouldnt do for them. But why do they insist on whining and tormenting one another. Today has been the LAST day of school for the summer and I guess that I have two tired children. I think that when my daughter finally lost her patience with herbrother and threw something his way he thought it was the perfect opportunity to fake a cry in the hope that I would "SORT IT OUT", I could do little for trying not to laugh as he sounded just like this character.
Yes I am a BAD mother and have two very tired little children.

Summer vacations from school are so much shorter for children in England than they are here in the states. I was shocked when you told me. What are your plans?
By the way, we are considering doing our trip to Rome, Paris, and London (in that order) during the holidays. It'd be neat to make that our Christmas present. Just thinking about pushing it out a couple more months. It's not set in stone. What's new years like in London?

Hello - Our children are now 20 and 17 and both somewhat fondly remember my "cure" for bickering: they had to hug each other for 2-3 minutes. It's difficult to hug someone without quickly bursting into giggles and forgetting about the argument:-) It worked for us!
