Show and Tell Friday

Kelli hosts a weekly Show and Tell, please pop by her blog and have a look at the inspirational posts she has. Anyhow, here is my Show and Tell.

This was an Engagement Gift from my Grandmother.. The roof comes off the little cottage to reveal hidden goodies. Inside there is a Honey Pot, a Salt Pot, a Black Kitty Cat, Wood, a Bag of Money and a loaf of bread.

There is a little card that goes with it and written on it is a poem,

This Little House Contains,
Honey for sweetness,
Wood for warmth,
Salt for Health,
Money for Wealth,
Bread for Food
and a Black Cat
For Good Luck.

I hope that you have enjoyed my first Show and Tell Friday.

What a perfect engagement present or it would also make a good housewarming gift. The little poem is simple and sweet. What a nice grandma.

What a sweet novelty item. I have never seen one like it. It is especially precious that it came from your grandma for your wedding!
